MPR client acquitted of multiple counts of rape on minors at Birmingham Crown Court

Our client faced multiple counts of rape on minors together with other defendants. We took the case on from another firm of solicitors as the client was unhappy with his previous defence team. We dissected the Crown’s case and found weaknesses in the case. We also instructed as number of experts and used their reports to throw doubt on the credibility of the complainants in the case.

The Prosecution took a view at the first day of the trial following our written and oral representation about dropping the case. The Prosecution conceded that they would not have a strong case and agreed to offer no evidence in the case. Our client was acquitted.
