PR Entrepreneur instructs us for crisis management and pre-charge advice

Seema Parikh from the Private Client Team at MPR solicitors was instructed to deal with crisis management on behalf of a business owner of a successful PR company and to make written representations to the police and CPS not to pursue a criminal investigation for assault against the client.

We were able to deal with the issues discreetly and avoided any publicity which would have had significant financial and professional repercussions for the client.

After being represented at the police station for an interview under caution which we were able to arrange with the police to avoid a formal arrest for our client; we then made written representations to the police that the case would not be in the public interest to prosecute and would fail at the first hurdle.

The matter was no further actioned by the police following our representations.
