Youth in multi handed conspiracy to commit GBH

  • Posted
We have been instructed to represent and advise a youth who has been charged along with 6 others with wounding with intent involving a stabbing on a joint enterprise basis. The incident took part in a busy part of West London and involves hours of CCTV.

Our client was one of only 2 other co-defendants to have been granted bail. The rest were remanded into custody awaiting their trial.

MPR solicitors were selected as specialists criminal defence lawyers and practitioners in serious youth crime. Members of the firm have received training on how to deal with the specifics of vulnerable youths and youth legislation in the Criminal Justice System. We also show empathy and compassion and do not judge either the client or their family in often very stressful and trying times.

We work with our young clients and their family and get to know what makes them tick by spending time and resources on their cases in order to provide them with the best possible success.

We will also work with a young client’s parent(s) or their keyworker and explain the various stages in the court process.

If required we can also engage the services of a court intermediary who is an highly skilled independent individual trained to assist in facilitating communication between the young client and their legal team and/ or the court process. This can be invaluable during a long trial in the crown court as this can be very daunting to a young client especially if they are due to give evidence.

If you think MPR solicitors could assist your child’s case then please contact us for a remote consultation in complete confidence and we would be happy to assist.

You can email us at law@ mprsolicitors.co.uk or call us on 0203 824 8080 to make an appointment for a fixed fee initial consultation ( to be conducted remotely due to Covid19 protocols).
